This Destiny 1 Grimoire page is a field guide to the weapons and war machines the Cabal bring to Mars. It reads like a briefing for Guardians, describing each piece of hardware, how it works, and where it shows up in battle.

You start with infantry gear: the Slug Rifle, whose rounds are tiny rockets, the salvo-firing Projection Rifle, the Heavy Slug Thrower carried by Colossus units, and the nearly indestructible Cabal Shield, which feeds data into the wider Cabal battle network. Almost every weapon here deals Solar damage.

From there the page moves to vehicles: Harvester dropships that swoop through the dead cities of Mars, Interceptors patrolling the Cabal Exclusion Zone, and finally the Goliath Tank, the largest ground ordnance the Cabal have fielded in our system. Along the way you also get practical notes on where some of these machines are vulnerable.

Slug Rifle

The workhorse of the Cabal field arsenal, this weapon's apparent simplicity belies the technology behind it. Each round is a microrocket capable of efficient operation in varying environmental and gravitational conditions. Standard-issue warheads mount a duplex explosive that combines an armor-piercing penetrator with a flesh-shredding shrapnel bus.

Cabal forces on Mars favor rockets with low velocity but high impact, perhaps due to their effectiveness against the Vex. In Guardian parlance, these weapons deal Solar damage.
