What this book is about

This Destiny 1 Grimoire book introduces Guardians, the dead raised by Ghosts to wield the Traveler's Light, and the three classes: Titans, Hunters and Warlocks. Each class gets a short description and a Ghost Fragment told from inside that class's world.

On Mars, Holborn of Holborn's Host and his second, Tubach, meet a Ghost with no Guardian while they search for the old Warmind. On Venus, a Hunter answers an unsigned message and fights through the Fallen to find Draksis, Kell of Winter, though a promise holds her back. In one Warlock fragment, a Warlock regrets taunting a Hunter with an Ahamkara fossil. In another, Eriana-3 interrogates a Hive Wizard on the Moon about Crota while the battle turns against her side.

The book closes with a transmission from Saladin Forge explaining why one particular Guardian was chosen for a mission.

Guardians
