What makes a Guardian, a Guardian?

Devotion inspires bravery.

Bravery inspires sacrifice.

Sacrifice... leads to death.

Devotion to a man and a cause that he believed to be just, one of knowledge, intelligence, advancement and technology that blinded him from the darkness of the truth that was hidden from him.

Bravery that lead to the separation of his very consciousness and his very soul into four different pieces, each making individual thoughts and living their own lives; bravery that allowed him to test the weapons and technology of the man he trusted and looked up to; bravery to face the eye of demons and come out on top, with nothing but his will and resolve.

The sacrifice he had to make in order to save the future of his people on the planet he spent his entire lifetime upon; a sacrifice that lead to the very death (that he believed was true) of the man he loved so dearly along with the death of every single part of who he is and was, but it lead to the destruction of the demons wrath upon the ice world of humanity's future.

A death, that every part of who he is would only see for a moment of his life beyond. A death... that he would never forget.
