What this book is about

This Destiny 1 Grimoire book catalogs the Hive's elite: the named Ogres, Knights, Wizards and princes you faced across the Moon, the Prison of Elders, the Hellmouth and the Dreadnaught. Early entries describe figures like Kranox, the Graven, keeper of the Worlds' Grave, and the Swarm Princes who forged the Sword of Crota.

The middle of the book follows Eris and her fireteam, Toland, Omar, Vell, Eriana-3 and Sai Mota, as they descend toward Crota through his Blades, Eyes, Hand, Heart and Will. Their conversations reveal Toland's strange knowledge and what the Hive does to captured Light. Ikora adds her own theories on Crota's netherworld.

Later pages turn to Oryx, The Taken King, his court and his daughters, told partly in Oryx's own ritual verse. Toland, the Shattered, narrates much of it, offering unsettling advice about what Oryx's power is built on, and what the Guardian's victories might mean.

Kranox, The Graven

Kranox, the Graven is said to be the Keeper of the Worlds' Grave, a vast repository chronicling the Hive's history of interstellar conquests. Every world they have devoured, every life they have eradicated, every enemy they've faced.

Defeating Kranox and cracking the secrets of the Worlds' Grave could provide the City with the keys to unraveling the Hive's true goals and their ultimate plans for Earth.
