What this book is about

This Destiny 1 Grimoire page is a field guide to the weapons and vehicles of the Fallen. It moves from the Shock Pistols carried by low-ranking crew members up to the Shock Blades that Captains wield, which the entry insists are not ceremonial. Along the way it explains how Arc technology drives most of their gear, from the tracking Shock Rifle to the Wire Rifle and the Shock Grenade.

The vehicles get their own entries, including the stealthy Skiff, the fast Pike and the Heavy Pike, which Guardians are encouraged to commandeer. The Walker receives the most attention. You learn its role at the Battle of Twilight Gap and the tactics veteran Guardians use to bring one down.

Later entries cover heavier ordnance like the Scorch Cannon and Web Mines. The last few show the Fallen adapting what they find, including SIVA and looted Hive technology.

Shock Pistol

The Shock Pistol is a simple but deadly weapon, and a mainstay of the Fallen arsenal. Primarily utilized by the lower ranking members of a given Fallen crew, Shock Pistols discharge bolts of Arc energy.
