What this book is about

This Destiny 1 Grimoire page is a catalogue of special weapons: shotguns, fusion rifles, sniper rifles and sidearms. Each class gets a short introduction, followed by entries on individual exotics and their histories. You'll find Ikora Rey's rebellious youth behind Invective, Amanda Holliday rebuilding her mother's Chaperone with Tex Mechanica, and a Crow named Jolyon reworking a weapon into Lord of Wolves.

Several entries lean on wider events. Telesto is an Awoken search report recommending death declarations for missing Paladins, Techeuns and Queen Mara Sov. Sleeper Simulant is a machine alert describing the IKELOS directive and Operation MIDNIGHT EXIGENT. Pocket Infinity and Vex Mythoclast hint at uneasy ties to the Vex.

Other pages are shorter pieces: a verse about the Hive sisters behind Black Spindle, a Corsair's account of the Reef for Vestian Dynasty, and Shiro-4's personal sidearm, Trespasser.

Shotguns

There are few weapons that offer the comfort and familiarity of a shotgun. Built for close quarters combat, they provide immediate, violent conflict resolution.
