This Destiny 1 Grimoire book covers the quests of The Dark Below. It opens with the Speaker's call to aid the Tower's patrons, then hands the story to Eris Morn, a survivor of a failed hunt for Crota, the Hive god whose sword once cracked the Moon.

Eris warns that Crota's followers now look to take the Earth. You follow her guidance from the Cosmodrome invasion to the Hive's attack on an arm of Rasputin, where she wonders what Omnigul was really after and questions the Warmind's motives. She explains what stopping the Wakers of Crota achieved, what still waits beyond the Hellmouth, and why his Eyes, Hand, Heart and Will must all fall.

The final entry looks past Crota to the wider Hive pantheon and hints at a dangerous path Eris is willing to take.
